The next edition of WPL will commence from 14th February, 2025 and it will played in four different venues. Matches will be played at- Brabourne Stadium, Ekana Stadium, BCA Stadium and M.Chinnaswamy Stadium. Total 22 matches will be played by 5 franchisees.

Every year BCCI conducts IPL auctions, where old players are shuffled and new players are introduced. This year, the auction was held in Jeddah and like every year, fresh players from the domestic circuit were picked. We share a list of all these players.

Suryakumar Yadav is the new Indian captain and the team has won almost every match, be it in home conditions or abroad. The leader is allowing players to grow and his mantra of leading the team is being very fruitful.

Born on 30 July, 1991, Klaasen made his international debut on 7 February, 2018 vs India. He is one of the most destructive batsmen in limited overs. The fluency with which he lifts the ball against spinners is impeccable. He was in squad that ended up runners up in 2024 T20 World Cup. 

National Cricket Academy is located in M. Chinnaswamy Stadium and is managed, controlled by BCCI. All the players of the country, be it top tier cricketer or a junior Under 19 player, all train here.

Sunil Gavaskar is a famous former Indian Cricketer known for his incredible batting skills. He was the first player to score 10,000 runs in Test cricket. He played as an opening batsman and was known for his technique and concentration. 

England will tour India for a five T20I and three ODI series in January and February, 2025. It will be extremely important series as it will help both the teams in preparing for Champions Trophy 2025 and T20 World Cup 2026.

Kapil Dev is a former Indian Cricketer and one of the Greatest All-rounders of all time. He was the first captain to lift ICC Trophy for India. He represented India in 131 Tests and 225 ODIs. After retiring, he even coached the Indian Team for a short stint.
