ICC regularly conducts tournaments at the international level in which best teams participate. In 2025, ICC will conduct Champions Trophy in Pakistan. 
The matches will start from 19th February and the finals will be played on 9th March, 2025. 
Pakistan has shortlisted three venues and all the 15 matches between 8 teams will played there only. These venues are- National Stadium, Karachi, Gaddafi Stadium, Karachi and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi. 
The eight teams are divided in the groups of four and the format will be round robin followed by knock outs. 
Overall, it will be exciting half month as best teams in the world will compete against each other.

Sarah Taylor is a former English cricket who was known for exceptional wicket keeping skills and elegant batting. She was the backbone of her team as she provided her side the stability with her gloves behind the stumps. 
in total she has played 226 matches for England and scored 6,533 runs. 
Sarah took an early retirement as she was suffering from mental health issues. Now, she is associated with various team as a coach. 
She was ICC Women’s cricketer of the year in 2012 , 2013 and 2014. She was also nominated for Rachael Heyhoe Flint Award for ICC Female Cricketer of the decade.

Champions Trophy, also known as mini World Cup, is one of the four tournaments organised by ICC. It is the next big event that will be conducted by ICC. Pakistan has been picked as the hosts and the matches will start from February 2025. 
Total eight teams will participate and amongst them 15 matches will be played.

India are expected to do well as they will be looking to clinch another ICC title in 2025. 

Champions Trophy is organised in every four years. However, the last edition was held in 2017 where Pakistan won by beating India in the finals in England. 
The 2025 edition will be very exciting as Pakistan will be hosting an ICC tournament after a very long time. All the spectators will be excited to see players in action too. 

West Indies team is one of the most successful teams in world cricket. They have won plenty of ICC trophies in the past. They have a great legacy, the players that played for their country had contributed massively in the field of cricket in early 1980s. 
Players like Brian Lara, Viv Richards, Chris Gayle etc. have played for the island nation and have broken many records. Every other country used to fear from this team because they used to play very rough cricket. 
Now slowly, women’s cricket is also taking a boost in the country. More and more girls are taking up the sport. 

Regularly franchise cricket is also being conducted by the authorities there. The league is known as Caribbean Premier League and it is helping in bringing out the best bunch of players forward.

 There are vast opportunities in the field of cricket now. Other than playing professional, an individual can earn a lot in the field as there are vast number of opportunities. Earlier cricket was only limited to 5-6 matches a year, but now, the number matches , the competition everything has increased significantly. hence, more and more opportunities are available. 
players can look up to become coach, referee, scorer etc. A lot of these options require professional certification though.

in order to make a India a sports dominating cricket, people should be aware about the future options and only then they can fully invest their time and money in the sport .

Brendon McCullum was a powerful batsman who shattered a lot of records. His batting style was different, he batted in a very attacking fashion. His punch had a natural power and that made him unique. 
throughout his career, he broke many records and even led the national side. After retirement, he continued serving the sport but later as a coach. 
his coach style was as unique as his batting. Just like he believed in dominating in batting, similarly he believed in dominating through his coaching style. 
we as spectators are watching a new era of test cricket and that is because of Brendon McCullum only.

Faf du Plessis was a South African who played international cricket from 2012-21. Across formats he played 262 matches, scoring 11198 runs, with highest score being 199. He was a destructive batter and a visionary skipper. South Africa’s cricket grew a lot during his tenure. 
Spectators applauded him a lot for his batting and fielding. He was powerful and agile. Hence, he was a complete package who delivered almost every time. 
he played a lot of franchise cricket as well. He is a regular member in IPL. Across the world, he has been part of various franchise set up be it in SA T20, Big Bash League etc. 

Faf threw light on his journey with his autobiography- Faf through Fire 

Ajinkya Rahane was a right handed top order batsman who played cricket for India from 2011 till 2023. He started his cricket journey in maidans of Mumbai and now he is a regular member in IPL and domestic cricket in India. He led the Ranji Trophy team in 2023 season as well. 
In total he has played 195 matches for India, scoring 8414 runs with an average of 35.95. 
He relied greatly on timing in batting was one of the most agile fielders. He used to take sharp catches and was slip fielder in Indian team. His reaction time was very less and that helped him a lot in taking some really stunning catches. 
He played his last test match in 2023 which was the final of World Test Champions. Since then he has not played a match for India.

Ishant Sharma is lovingly called as ‘Lambu’ by his teammates because of his height and built. He was a right arm pacer who played international cricket for nearly 14 years. He was in squad that won 2013 Champions Trophy. 
Sharma played domestic cricket for Delhi and used train under Mr. Shravan Kumar at Rohtak Road Gymkhana. Along with that, Mr. Rajkumar Sharma, who was also Virat Kohli’s coach, helped Sharma in improving his skill. 
Presently, Ishant is playing IPL for Delhi Capitals. He is also playing Delhi Premier League for Purani Dilli 6.
