Sehwag was popularly known as the nawab of cricket and his batting style was Nawabi too.

In total there are 5 teams- Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants and UP Warriors. So far, 2 seasons have held, the first one was won by Mumbai Indians and the second one by Royal Challengers Bangalore. They both defeated Delhi Capitals in the final to clinch the trophy.

The tournament is held annually in a round robin format and it is a great chance for players to demonstrate their capabilities. The scouts of the teams pick players and thus they help in giving recognition to the untapped talent.
