How does ZAP select its franchisee owners?

ZAP evaluates franchisee applications based on several factors, including the applicant’s experience in the field, passion for cricket, financial stability and ability to align with ZAP’s brand value. We also consider the proposed location’s market potential and the applicant’s business plan. 

Is there any application fees?

No, we do not charge anything for the application. 

How long does the application process take?

The application process usually takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the volume of the applications and the time taken to complete evaluations. 

How do I check the status of my application?

You can check the status of your application by contacting our franchisee team via email at kavita@zapcricket.com or by calling +91-7088572589. Please have you application reference number ready for quicker assistance. 

What is the minimum investment that I need to become a franchise owner?

The minimum investment to become a ZAP franchisee starts at INR 5 lakhs, which includes franchisee fees and initial inventory. A detailed breakdown can be provided on request. 

What will be my pricing?

As a ZAP franchisee, you will follow a pricing structure approved by ZAP cricket, ensuring consistency across all franchisee outlets. Specific details regarding pricing and profit margins will be discussed during the on boarding process. 

If my application is denied, can I reapply?

Yes, you are welcome to reapply after a month waiting period. We recommend addressing any areas of concern highlighted during your initial application before reapplying. 

What are the start up costs and initial investments?

Start up costs typically include the franchisee fees, equipments, initial inventory, marketing and training. These costs generally range from INR 5 lakhs to INR 10 lakhs, depending on the location and size of the franchisee. A detailed cost breakdown will be shared during the application process. 

Can we open in partnership?

Yes, we allow partnerships for franchisee ownership, provided that all partners meet ZAP’s eligibility criteria and sign the franchisee agreement collectively. 

Can a detailed support plan be shared?

Absolutely, ZAP offers comprehensive support including: 

  • initial training for franchisees and staff
  • marketing and promotional assistance 
  • ongoing operational support and quality control 
  • exclusive access to ZAP’s product catalogue and supply chain. We will share a detailed plan once your application progresses to the onboarding stage
