In the 2013 season while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors India, Gayle smashed a remarkable 175 runs off just 66 balls at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. He reached his century off just 30 balls, the fastest century in the IPL, showing his incredible power-hitting ability. Gayle's innings included a whopping 13 fours and a record-breaking 17 sixes dominating the PWI bowlers. With a staggering strike rate of 265.15, Chris Gayle's 175 runs knock is celebrated as one of the greatest innings in T20 cricket history.

Quinton de Kock, the Lucknow Super Giants opener who has been massively underrated in the past years, delivered an innings for the ages in the 2022 IPL match against Kolkata Knight Riders. He smashed an aggressive 140 runs off just 70 balls at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai. This was IPL's 3rd best innings ever. De Kock's innings included 10 boundaries and an equal number of towering sixes, showing how class of a top order batsman he. His partnership with KL Rahul resulted in an unbeaten 210-run stand, leading LSG to a commanding total.

In the 2015 IPL match against Mumbai Indians, AB de Villiers played a record breaking innings, scoring 133 runs off just 59 balls. This was the fourth highest individual score in the IPL ever. Batting alongside Virat Kohli, he formed a remarkable partnership of 215-run. De Villiers' innings featured 19 fours and 4 sixes, and he batted mammoth at a strike rate of 225.42. His brilliant performance helped Royal Challengers Bangalore post a formidable total of 235 runs. KL Rahul is one of the most consistent players in the IPL and has always performed well with the bat for whichever team he’s played for. In the 2020 IPL match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, KL Rahul, the captain of Kings XI Punjab, played an extra ordinary innings, scoring 132 runs off just 69 balls. This innings marked the highest individual score by an Indian player in the IPL. Rahul's innings included an impressive 14 fours and 7 sixes, and his impeccable batting technique was put to show in the entire duration of his innings. After being dropped twice by RCB, he capitalized on the opportunities, punishing the bowlers with a flurry of boundaries and sixes. His aggressive batting display included consecutive boundaries and sixes against the likes of Dale Steyn and Shivam Dube. With this innings, Rahul not only led his team to a commanding total of 206/3 but also secured a convincing 97-run victory as RCB was bowled out for just 109 runs. This innings also earned him the prestigious Orange Cap as the tournament's leading run-scorer.

In 2016, AB de Villiers once again show his brilliance with the bat with a superb innings in the match against Gujarat Lions. He scored an incredible 129, not out off just 52 balls at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. De Villiers' innings included 10 fours and an astonishing 12 sixes, as he struck the leather ball at the rate of 248.07. Batting alongside his partner in crime Virat Kohli who also scored a hundred, they forged a partnership of over 200 runs, helping Royal Challengers Bangalore post a mammoth total of 248 runs. The Gujarat Lions had no answer to this formidable total and suffered a crushing defeat by 144 runs.

In the IPL 2023 playoffs against the mighty Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Titans’ Shubman Gill played a stellar innings scoring an impressive 129 runs off just 60 balls, the seventh highest individual score in IPL history at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. His innings of 7 boundaries and 10 towering sixes, showed his maturity as a young batting sensation. Gill's aggressive intent combined with classical technique propelled Gujarat Titans' to an imposing total. Mumbai Indians were no match and Gujarat Titans made it into the finals because of Shubman’s knock. Shubhman Gill also earned the Orange Cap in IPL 2023.
