Domestic cricket and International career
Born on 8 January, 1991, Hazelwood started playing cricket quite early. By age of 12, his skill was developed like that of older players playing with him. At age 17, he was selected for New South Wales and became the youngest pacer to represent the state. He was selected in the Under 19 squad in 2008 and was the youngest member in the Australian dressing room then.

Josh Hazelwood in franchise cricket
Josh has played in BBL only in four seasons so far. He played for Sydney Sixers in 2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14 and lastly in 2019-20. He has featured in 19 matches and has taken 17 wickets.
