Indian Women's Cricketer Nuzhat Parween Joins ZAP Cricket
ZAP cricket is delighted to announce the signing of Indian wicketkeeper and batswoman Nuzhat Parween. The 25-year-old keeper-batswoman made her debut in an international Twenty20 series against the West Indies. One of the most highly regarded emerging talents in the sport, Parween has represented India in both One-day Internationals and Twenty20.
She was an integral part of the women’s cricket team that reached the world cup final of 2017. Moreover, she is the first player to make it to the national team within just five years.
Parween rose through the ranks of the Madhya Pradesh Under-19 cricket team and had long been touted as a future Indian player long before her debut. In 2012-13 she was selected as the vice-captain of the central zone under-19 women’s cricket team.
She plays domestically for the Railways in the Women's Senior One Day Trophy and for the Trailblazers in the Women's T20 Challenge. This makes her an all-format player and a key asset to the team.
Parween's vision coincides with ZAP in supporting and nurturing young cricketers from everywhere. She believes that emerging talent is being encouraged and thoroughly supported by ZAP, which is ultimately transforming cricket and upholding the spirit of the game.
In her own words, she states, “ZAP is special to me, they are specialists in cricket bats, and in a way, transforming cricket. I love the bat, its exquisite balance, and the look and feel while playing. ZAP is my go-to place for all things cricket.”
Nuzhat joins ZAP as one of the leaders of the upcoming generation, who are all set to dominate the game with their talent.
