Ajinkya Rahane was a right handed top order batsman who played cricket for India from 2011 till 2023. He started his cricket journey in maidans of Mumbai and now he is a regular member in IPL and domestic cricket in India. He led the Ranji Trophy team in 2023 season as well. 
In total he has played 195 matches for India, scoring 8414 runs with an average of 35.95. 
He relied greatly on timing in batting was one of the most agile fielders. He used to take sharp catches and was slip fielder in Indian team. His reaction time was very less and that helped him a lot in taking some really stunning catches. 
He played his last test match in 2023 which was the final of World Test Champions. Since then he has not played a match for India.

Ishant Sharma is lovingly called as ‘Lambu’ by his teammates because of his height and built. He was a right arm pacer who played international cricket for nearly 14 years. He was in squad that won 2013 Champions Trophy. 
Sharma played domestic cricket for Delhi and used train under Mr. Shravan Kumar at Rohtak Road Gymkhana. Along with that, Mr. Rajkumar Sharma, who was also Virat Kohli’s coach, helped Sharma in improving his skill. 
Presently, Ishant is playing IPL for Delhi Capitals. He is also playing Delhi Premier League for Purani Dilli 6.

Under 19 World Cup is organised in every two years. Players get a chance to compete at the international level. They have the chance to display their skill, clinch the trophy and to even get selected for the senior team. They get the right exposure here and they get to know where they stand in terms of world cricket. Hence, conducting Under 19 tournament is a great initiative as it helps in grooming the future talent.

Arjuna Award is the second highest award given for Outstanding Performance in Sports and Games. Government of India gives this award to those players who do exceptionally well in this field.

for a very long time, Indian team used to play with one wicket keeper across all the formats, it was MS Dhoni’s era then. But now, as the franchise cricket is growing and players have international commitments as well, the selectors need to keep shuffling among a set of options to that each player is fit and match ready all the time. 
Selectors too have a lot of options as they can pick players from IPL or domestic matches. The main options in front of them are

Shikhar Dhawan played international cricket from 2010 till 2022. Throughout his career, he played a fearless and attacking sort of cricket. He used to dominate with the bat and target all the areas of the ground with equal ease.

Sreesanth was a great player who played all the three formats for India. He was in squad that lifted 2007 ICC T20 World Cup and 2011 ICC World Cup. 
he was a right arm fast bowler who used to swing the new ball. By nature, he was very aggressive and that attitude reflected his bowling style as well.

he was doing well for India and in domestic cricket as well, but in 2013 he was caught in a match fixing scandal which resulted in his life ban, however, this life ban lifted after 6 years. 

The 2024 T20 Women’s World Cup is around the corner and preparations of all the teams are going in full swing. Few teams have an edge over others as they look more solid and better prepared.
